Post Study Work In Malaysia
Part-time employment is legal for any overseas students enrolled in higher education programs at either private or public universities. During academic vacations or breaks lasting longer than seven days, students are allowed only to find employment part-time for a total of twenty hours each week in accommodations, eateries, petrol pumps, and grocery stores while their student permit is still in good order. It is not permissible for students to find employment as cashiers. Additionally, students are not permitted to perform as singers, masseurs, or musicians, or engage in other activities that are viewed as unethical in the hospitality sector. The student must apply for a part-time job via the university where they are enrolled. When filing an application at the Immigration Office, the student and an agent of the educational institution must be there.
